Stop Spinning Plates

Stop Spinning Plates

Pursuing a particular goal in a particular area of your life doesn’t have take away from any other goal in any other area of your life.

Pursuing your professional goals can make you a better parent. Pursuing your health & fitness goals can make you a better professional. Pursuing your personal life goals can make you healthier & fitter. Pursuing your financial goals can improve your personal life.

It’s time you started to question the spinning plates analogy.

Why can’t the plates be gears that fit together synchronously and help spin each other? Effort exerted towards one goal is actually effort exerted towards all goals.

Or perhaps throw the plates out altogether and consider the different areas of your life as parts of the same balloon. Effort exerted to inflate it enhances your life as a whole.

Analogies work well, until they stop working.

Beliefs serve you, until they become limiting.

What’s beliefs are holding you back?

If you know someone who would benefit from reading this, please forward it to them. It may change the trajectory of their life for the better, and the catalyst could be you.
